For those of you who were previously registered when this was still the MYHA, some good news! Even though we have moved to PONY, if you were registered and did not move to PONY, you can still remain a registered handler and participate! We have permission from Sarah, the founder of PONY, to do this! You will have to talk to your game owner(s) as to wether they will consider any ribbons you earn, or approavels that you gain here, valid in your game. Eventually, it would be great to sustain a partnership with other games, but for now, at least everyone who was previously registered will continue to recicve our updates, show, and continue in the PYHA just as you did in the MYHA. Our Goal

The PYHA was created for, about, and because of young horses. You see, many PONYrs breed horses. Then, they create their foals to be at least yearlings. Then, they sell the foals. Well, I don't think that's right. Every foal deserves a chance. They are the future of PONY. Still, many people don't want the younger horses. Sure, they can't be ridden, but that does not make the *disappear.* Probably most people prefer an older horse which can compete. Well, now PONY's younger horses can too! This is the only association which has a class list just for young horses! It is unique in another ways too. The PYHA will be having special events only for young horses. They will be things like clinics, trail rides, or sales. However, you can only be a part of all of this if you register yourself as a handler. The registery is simple and easy:) We can't wait to hear from you!

What is considered a young horse?

By now you may be wondering just what a young horse is. Of course, you can not just register yourself to show any horse. Here are some basic guidelines:

• You must be registered to show young horses
• You can only show young horses
• For Thoroughbreds, Warmbloods, and Quarter horses the young horse age limit is 4 years old.
• For Morgans, Arabians, and other breeds, the age limit is 6 years old.
• When your horse becomes older then the age limit above, you MAY NOT SHOW the horse anymore with the MYHA. If you do, you will be suspended from ahowing ANY horse in the MYHA or something else along those lines!

How to Register

As I said, the registery is simple. It only costs $25, which is not a lot since this covers you and all of your young hoses. Just send the following to *me*:

• Your Name
• E-mail
• a check for $25.00

Every month, the PYHA will hold a show specially for Young Horses. You must be registered to enter. To enter a show, e-mail Me or that month's host (subject to change):

• the copied class list
• Horse, Handler, Barn Intials
• (undereach class entered)
• and delete unentered classes

  RESULTS for PYHA's Shows in the Current Season

  Our current shows were April and May. Melissa should have the May results out soon. In July, we will have our last show of the season with the season end banquet in late July or early august.

  Would you like your horse to be PYHA approaved? Well, first, you need to enter some shows and get 50 points. You can only get points from PYHA shows, or if a show host e-mails me first!!!
